I spent far too much money on Halloween weekend
But whatever... Work was hell. I hate working fridays. But i love my job. I love seeing all of my friends come in and out and just shoot the shit for like hours. It's fun, not really that difficult and the pay is SUPER AWESOME!!! However, fridays suck. Film majors are lazy procrastinators. I hate to say that even though i am one, but still...it's very true. All the mofo's wait till friday to reserve and pick up their shit. Anyway...once Linda gets back she's gonna raise hell. Whatever. I picked up extra hours nevertheless. As i begun my costume search today, I had 2 diff. ideas in mind, but they were all shot to hell once i saw this sign on the feeder of I-35 north about this costume shop by Target. So iwent there and there were a billion people and lots of craxzy fucking costumes and shit. So i tried for the whole spartan warrior/Colin Farrell in Alexader-ish thing but what i ended up getting is only about 35% of my original idea. But i still like it. Then I had to get a devil or angel costume cuz Jessica is enforcing that rule at her party. So of course I decided to be a devil but i thought i'd mix it up by being both. So thaz what I am. And i also got 2 SWEET shirts which are particular vulgar bczu thaz the way i like my clothes. Anyway....now i'm off to Saw 3 with people. |

I am in love with little children
The movie and the book...NOT ACTUAL LITTLE CHILDREN CUZ THAT'S NASTY I saw the film this weekend in houston (cuz iz not in austin yet, WTF?) but it was fucking great. The acting was amazing, especially from Patrick Wilson and Kate Winslet. Jennifer Connely was greatly underused, but I haven't finished the book yet so I don't know if that was her character's purpose. Patrick Wilson is definitely one of those actors whose on the brink of stardom. He's far from it, but he just needs that one role that gets him to that point. As good as Little Children was, I don't believe that this feel will get him that exposure. He needs something else. But he was also fucking amazing in Hard Candy too!!! Anyway....I'm a bit drunk so I'm gonna go shower. Yay for colder weather!!! |

Race To Drunkdom/Houston Trip
So...It's wednesday. I have sooo much fucking work to do. I have that GODDAMN J 363 test 2moro, which is becoming increasingly difficult becasue neither Emily nor I go to class. Also, I have this retarded ass J 349 paper due Friday but I gotta type it today before the 363 study group. Technically I could wait till 2moro to do it, but I promised to get drunk with Micah tomorrow because he said I owe him for leaving this weekend to go home. And...I'm going to see the Prestige with Mizz Emily (aka my favorite Daily Texan--er). And I'm just assuming, after eating and massive drinking that I won't be in the right frame of mind to do HW. So...here's to me being responsible...sort of. Sick-a-thon 2K6 still hasnt ended. I skipped all my classes on Mon & Tues bcuz of it. I'm still on alot of medication (minus the wonderful lidocaine). I still cannot sleep at night and I am in lots o pain, but at least I have it under control during the day (mostly). Hopefully It won't last for too much longer. OH SHIT...should I be drinking and taking medicine at the same time...hmmmm...probably not. However, the bottles only say that alcohol consumption will make me feel drowsier than they usually would. Which technically is not a "Do not take this with alcohol" warning. SO YEA...I won't drive. My mom bought me the Little Children book by Tom Perotta which has me super excited to see the movie when I get to H-town this weekend since it isn't playing in ATX yet. YAY! reading??? Lidocaine is sooo much fun
I've never been so medicated in my life. AWESOME!!!!! I have lidocaine!!! And it's amazing. I haven't decided if i'm going to class tomorrow, we'll see how I feel in the morning. On the upside: I'm going home on Friday. I LOVE driving home. Cuz I get to jam to all my favorite music for like almost 3 hrs. It's so much fun. I plan on seeing a couple movies with my mom. And possibly squeezing her for cash as I always do when I see her. Plus...I can get my fucking haircut. Which is super fucking awesome. I haven't decided if I'm going to the Straylight Run concert with Ryan and his lil sis yet, but the more and more I listen, the more and more I like. Current Mood:  calm |

People are interesting when they're drunk
Mmmm...Braunstein's party was absolutely worth it. Jessica and I had a very interesting evening. When you get hit on by someone...of the same/different sex and the are giving the other crazy signs....it usually turns out to be a good night. Braunstein was wasted. He was hitting pieces of candy with his nine iron in the parking lot....yea......super drunk. I hung with micah for a bit...we collaborated. And he gave his theory on "the hot one." Sanaa Lathan + Nip/Tuck = Heaven
I not just some huge sanaa lathan fan, but i do respect her and some of her work. But her on nip/tuck...well, there hasn't been a role better for her. And i love her mysterious past (which as of tonight, is no longer mysterious...THAT BITCH) Anyhoo...I can't stand Mariska's replacement on SVU. Some ho with an accent is not worthy to stand beside the god that is Chris Meloni. I forever love Studio 60 and my new favorite, Kidnapped. Anything with Jeremy Sisto is amazing. Either he's all fat and shit now. I remember him as crazy billy on six feet under...oh how times have changed. The jury's till out on Heroes. I have to watch more episodes to see if i care. Since it's skewed towards the comic geeks, i'll stick with it. Ryan and I gave Jericho a chance, but neither of us give a fuck anymore. We can't even watch the 2nd episode. SOUTH PARK PREMIERE 2MORO!!!! WHOOOOO OOOOO!!! I quite ready for the weekend to get here. Thursday is Grey's with Emily and then Braunstein's party. Friday will be a very very very very sad going away celebration with my closest friends in austin @ the 4 Seasons (the best place in town). Saturday, Ryan and I are off to Dallas to kick some Sooner ass. I will be drunk as shit, but Ryan's driving. And that means...MANY CRAZY PHOTOS FROM THE ROAD. SO YEAH!!! awww...the 80s
As of late, life has been pretty much normal. Besides "the hot one" which is the name i've chosen for my crush since they share a name with someone else i know. But anyway... I've bought like 4 movies which i'm really excited to watch this weekend, so after micah's shoot, he, lori, and I (we've bascially been hanging every weekend since the summer with her which is amazing cuz she's awesome) are gonna have a drunken movie night. Should be fun I've worked a lot of extra hours this week so i'm really excited about getting paid!!!!! Next weekend is the OU game so iz off to Dallas once again, but this time with Ryan and possible Jessica and Julia. So.....I'm super excited about that. Also...I'm rewatching The Fly (the 86 remake) and I am amazed. It is far grosser than I remember it as a child. but it is soooooooo fucking awesome. Anyway...killers album is great...but different. Much different than the first...less synth...more rock. Nice. and no more faux british accent. |

Just Joshin'
Josh's party at the Six Lounge. Contrary to my previous visit there, it does not suck. Especially when u r in the VIP section and the there is free grey goose. And nothing sounds better when Josh says "Just tell the waitress to put everything on my tab." mmmmmm But seriously, the DJ was def. the high point of the night. He went from the 80s, 90s, to the current so seamlessly it was ridiculous. High points of the evening, "Sexyback," "Push It (by Salt-N-Pepa)", and Boys II Men "Motownphilly". The club went ape shit as those songs played. Marcella went with cuz everyone else was a flake. But thaz cool...whatever. We had an amazing time. This will be my first real week of homework.
